This scissor lift table is used as an adjustable height work platform. It allows assembly technicians easy access to control cabinets during manufacture and testing, reducing musculoskeletal injuries from lifting, bending and stretching. The platform is fitted with personnel barrier rails and electro-mechanically locked and interlocked gates. Lifts like this are also used to serve 2 fixed levels of a building, ground floor to mezzanine, service yard to loading dock ( see BSEN1570 part 1) to carry operators with a load (trade waste bins, roll cages, pallet and pallet truck). Lifts for outdoor use can be galvanised and can be fitted with bridge plates for vehicle loading and unloading.
