Two large 5 tonne capacity scissor lifts are being built for use in a cold store. These lift tables with a 4 metres x 3 metres lifting platform come with heavy duty, hydraulic shot bolts to support the load deck at the upper landing level as well as robust guide rollers. The lifts have 6 metres of stroke and a closed height (pit depth) requirement of 1,700mm. When fitted with a 7.5kw electro-hydraulic power pack they will travel at 50mm a second. To reduce corrosion damage and metal fatigue the 3 scissor arm sets are fabricated from profiled, solid steel.
